"The first rock show I went to was Rainbow, UFO and Riot at Alpine Valley which is north of Chicago. It was a really good solid rock show, but I remember being mad at Rainbow because they didn't play 'Man On the Silver Mountain'. And we were suppose to get a ride with this guy who disappeared, so I was stranded 90 miles north of Chicago at 14 years old, and I was like what am I going to do, what am I going to do? And then I ran into my next door neighbor, so I was all right.
