Hi, my name is Bugg Superstar.
Let me tell you a little bit about my pet...James Iha.
I've come to know a bit about James Jonas Jaded Iha, from the long walks that I take him on.
He's a guitarist with the Smashing Pumpkins, and before that...he played with "Snake Train" and "Astro and the Go Go Girls".
James has a unique style,...both as a guitar player and as a model of men's clothing. You can say that he's a man who walks down his own catwalk.
His unique brand of humor has earned him fans who love not only his music, but also his persona and his showmanship.
James was born in Chicago- March 26, 1968. He went to Elk Grove Village HS (HS as in Human School) where he was taught obedience and geography.
At home, he likes to play
his favorite albums such as the Beatles' "White Album" and
My Bloody Valentine's "Isn't Anything", and a few singles such as Courtney Love's
"Highlights", Rolling Stones' "Tumbling Dice", Byrds' "Chestnut mare", and Sonic Youth's
"Starpower".
His list of favorite musicians includes Syd Barret, Big Star, Rolling Stones, Gram Parsons, Neil Young, and Morricone.
His favorite songwriters include Kevin Shields/Belinda Butcher, Gram Parson, Neil Young, Lennon, McCartney, and Kurt Cobain. But the main influences on his career have been The Smashing Pumpkins and Snake Train.
When he's not practicing guitar (usually a Gibson or a Marshall), we watch TV programs such as Star Trek, TNG, or Faulty Towers. Or one of his favorite movies...The Thing or Manhattan, among many others.
