MELON HEAD AND THE INFINITE RECORD DEAL
Seeking to void their recording deal, Smashing Pumpkins have filed a multimillion dollar lawsuit against Chrysalis Music. The band claims it signed a 32-song publishing deal with the company in 1992, but has since delivered twice that many songs. Masochistic Chrysalis claims the band owes it one more album. In related news, the band's leader, Billy "Don't Call Me Curly" Corgan, has inexplicably failed to file a malpractice suit against his barber.
