  3. Can I get in touch with you with questions or new additions?

A1. WHAT IS A SONGLIST?
A songlist is exactly what you think it is - a list of songs that a band has released/performed. In this case, we're talking about the Smashing Pumpkins.

A2. WHAT'S THE POINT OF THE SONGLIST?
I would say that this songlist is of interest mostly to collectors. If you need to know where to find Bodies or The Last Song or something, you'd probably be better off checking out Eric Agnew's list. However, if you want to know what show they played Bad Moon Rising or where you can find a live version of Zoom, you'll find the stuff you want here.

A3. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SORTED AND UNSORTED SONGLISTS?
Unsorted is simply a big list of all known Smashing Pumpkins songs, riffs, cover versions and whatever else. Sorted simply takes this list and arranges it into catagories.

A4. HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHAT SONGS TO PUT WHERE?
Usually it's pretty easy, but in the case of something like Pastichio Medley, it can get difficult. I settled on this: all the riffs included within Pastichio Medley are listed on the full list. However, under Official Releases on the Sorted list, only Pastichio Medley is listed, as not all of the riffs contained in it have ever been released.

A5. WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INFORMATION ON THESE SONGS?
From a variety of sources. Usually with upcoming compilations or soundtracks, you can get the tracklistings from Addicted to Noise or another online news place. As for the live covers, I get those from reading people's live reviews which have been posted on the newsgroup or sent to Listessa. I also visit Josh Sherman's Tour Dates page frequently to keep up-to-date on the reviews.

B1. WHAT ARE THE SONG PAGES?
The Song Pages are the individual, erm, song pages. Each song has one, and on it you'll find all the information that is known about that particular song.

B2. HOW THE HELL DO I LISTEN TO THE SOUNDS?
You need an MP3 player. Click on the icon below to download one.

C1. I HAVE SONG X ON THIS BOOTLEG, BUT IT'S NOT ON THE SONGLIST - WHAT'S UP?
Bootlegs, especially CD bootlegs, have a tendancy to get song titles mixed up or wrong. This list is committed to providing only the most accurate information.

C2. WHERE CAN I FIND A LIST OF THESE MIXED-UP SONGS?
Right here:

C3. CAN I GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU WITH QUESTIONS OR NEW ADDITIONS?
Certainly. If there's anything you want to know about the list or have any suggestions to make it better, you can email me. If you want to submit a new song entry, please go to the Submission page.
