Welcome to the Smashing Pumpkins Audio Archive! Everything I had been working on to make this page better is now officially on hold. All of my efforts are now being focused on getting the new Archive up and running with over 200 all new files and a great new interface. In the mean time, join the Smashing Pumpkins Audio Archive Update Mailing List and you will be the first to know when the new Archive goes online, along with other important Archive information.
The Archive is now participating in the new "sp top 5" project on Listessa. Every week a different topical question will be posed regarding Smashing Pumpkins songs. Listessa members will be able to vote and the results will be posted to Listessa. The results can also be seen at the sp top 5 site. From there, you can download the songs in question through links directly to the Archive.
This weeks question is: "What is the best pre-Gish song?" To help you out, I have marked qualifying songs with a sp5.
Due to our special sound format, you will need one of these Players to playback the files. If you find that your player is unregistered or only plays twenty seconds, use this code to unlock it and play the songs full length.
Chris Carman recently discovered that AudioActive is providing compatible registered Players for free. When I tried to use the Windows 95 version, it wouldn't allow me play the files, but I have heard reports that the MacOS version works fine. So this would be worth checking out for all of those Mac users out there that were unable to listen to the files.
